"I honestly don't know where to begin. We happened upon HUG during the pandemic on our visits to Devil's Teeth Bakery. We would eat our sandwiches outside and once in awhile some of the teachers would come out to say hello and chat with us. Just these simple interactions gave us such a warm, welcoming feeling that we applied right when our daughter was of age to attend. We had looked at so many other schools in the neighborhood but nothing seemed like the right fit. HUG has exceeded our expectations of a preschool to the point that they feel like an extension of our family. The teachers and staff truly and genuinely care about every child and cater to each individual student in a way that everyone thrives and has fun. My daughter has learned so much and grown tremendously, both socially, academically and emotionally since joining. The communication from the staff is amazing - daily photos posted, weekly themes and lesson plans sent, activities and out of school trips coordinated, etc. I always feel like I know what's going on throughout the day and feel comforted by that.
